Distinguished Alumni
Kenneth Purcell '57

Ken Purcell '57, first full term Chaminade Alumni President and prime organizer of the association, was presented its highest honor, the "Distinguished Alumnus Award" at the school's recent Homecoming Reunion.

Current President Chuck Behm made the presentation, the first of its kind bestowed on a Chaminade alumnus. Behn cited Purcell's selfless and consistent efforts on behalf of the association, his leadership and involvement at every level of endeavor.

Purcell is well remembered as the 1957 Student Body President, captain of the football team and an award winning debator. He graduated from Stanford and UCLA Law School, and presently heads his own law firm. He is also a member of the Chaminade College Prep Board of Directors.
