  • STEP 2: Request your recommendation letters

We ask our applicants to request confidential recommendation letters to be completed by some of your current teachers and/or administrators.   Please log into your Application Portal found in Step #1 (or click on Parent Portal here) to electronically request recommendations. Your teachers will then be able to directly upload their recommendations into your portal.
  • STEP 3: Student interview process

All applicants are interviewed as part of the application process.  Applicants will be contacted about their interviews as a final step in the application process.  Interviews will be conducted beginning in January 2022.
  • STEP 4: The Character Skills Snapshot

We want to get to know your child in a well-rounded way. The Character Skills Snapshot gives us another lens to see the student in areas such as open-mindedness, resilience, and social awareness. All applicants to Chaminade are required to take the Character Skills Snapshot.  Registration fee is $50.00. For more details or to register today, click here.
To request a fee waiver for the Character Skills Snapshot, please email the Admissions Director for the campus you are applying to:

  • STEP 5: Entrance Examination Testing

For the 2022-2023 school year, Chaminade is not requiring students to take an entrance exam.  If you have taken an exam elsewhere, we will accept those scores as a supplement to the application process.  You may submit those scores to the school via email.
  • STEP 6: Submit Academic Records

Log into the Application Portal found in Step #1 or click here to upload your most recent Grade Reports or Transcripts. After the end of the first semester of the current year, log back in and upload the fall semester grades and Standardized Testing results. At the end of the year, you will request a final transcript for the 2021-2022 school year from your current school.  The school will then directly upload their documents into your portal.
  • STEP 7 (optional): Apply for financial aid

If you would like to apply for financial aid, information about that process can be found by clicking here.  Financial Aid applications are completed separately from your admissions application. The financial aid application for the 2022/23 school year will be available on November 1. For more information, please email:
Once you have completed all of the items on your Parent Portal Checklist, the Admissions Committee at Chaminade will review applications for acceptance decisions that will be released during the first week of March. You may check on the status of your child's application at any time by logging into your personal admissions page.  Information on enrollment and course selection will be provided to accepted students.
