Chaminade College Preparatory is proud to be one of Southern California’s premier Catholic high schools. We welcome transfer applications for grades 10 and 11 each fall. While limited openings may be available for spring or senior-year transfers, these are considered based on space availability and academic compatibility. Every application is thoughtfully reviewed to ensure a smooth and successful transition into our school community.
Important Things to Consider
- Who Can Apply: Minimum application requirements include a minimum 2.0 cumulative high school GPA and no un-remediated D or F grades.
- When to Apply: We encourage transfer applicants to apply by our regular January deadline. Applications received later in the spring are reviewed on a space-available basis.
- Financial Assistance: Transfer applicants may apply for financial assistance after completing the admissions application. An additional application is required for financial consideration. Learn More about Financial Aid
- Age Requirement: Applicants may not turn 20 before June 1 of their senior year.

- Applications are reviewed after the student interview, usually within two weeks of completing the application process.
