High School

List of 4 items.

  • 9th Grade: Pillars – Stand Firm in our Marianist Tradition

The Pillars retreat provides freshmen with the opportunity to explore the Marianist charism (to be formed by Mary for the mission of Christ) and what it means to be a Marianist student. This is the only high school retreat that is required of students, as occurs during the school day. This retreat is a two-day experience in the first semester, with one day on campus and the other day engaging in a service experience off campus. Students will receive information through their Theology class in the Fall.
  • 10th Grade: Lumos – You Are the Light of the World

Lumos is a retreat designed to help you understand yourself as light for others, show your good works, and glorify God. It is part of our Catholic- Marianist school to derive our radiance from Christ and reveal Him to others. This is a 3-day overnight retreat held at Circle V Ranch Camp in Santa Barbara.
  • 11th Grade: Emmaus – Walk Together on a Faith-Filled Journey

Emmaus Emmaus is a community-building retreat focused on recognizing Christ all around us in our everyday lives. As a Catholic- Marianist school, we believe that it is through strengthening our “Family Spirit” that we are able to support each other on retreat and beyond. This is a 3-day overnight retreat and is held at Canyon Creek Retreat Center in  Lake Hughes, Ca
  • 12th Grade: Kairos - Live in God’s Time

The Kairos Retreat experience is a special time to reflect on who you are and who you want to be. As a Catholic-Marianist school, we believe that in order to form our faith, we must take time to reflect and listen, to better understand God’s call in our lives. This is a 4-day overnight retreat and is held at either Mater Dolorosa Passionist Retreat Center in Sierra Madre or Canyon Creek Retreat Center in Lake Hughes, Ca.
Campus Ministry offers grade-level retreats throughout the year. Retreats help students deepen their relationship with God and build community with their peers. Rooted in our Catholic, Marianist traditions, Chaminade retreats promote a spirit of community that enables students to look beyond themselves and see the uniqueness and value of others as being created in God’s image.
