C-NOTES SPRING CONCERT INFORMATION AND REMINDERS
Monday, May 22, 2023 – Fine Arts Awards
2:00 – 3:00 p.m. – Parents are welcome to attend – award ceremony in the MS gym
All C-Notes will receive their trophies for superior rating from NYC festival.
 
Thursday, May 25, 2023 – 8th grade graduation mass
              5:00 p.m. – C-Notes call time in the music room
6:00 p.m. – graduation mass
 
8th grade C-Notes will be wearing graduation cap and gown. 
They need to report at 5:00 p.m. with Mrs. Rohrs in the music room for rehearsal and will be released at 5:30 p.m. to line up for the graduation mass.
When they process with the graduating class, they are to proceed to the risers to sing for the mass. 
At the end of mass, they will go to their assigned seats with the graduating mass.  All of this will be rehearsed with Ms. Beskid during grad practice at school.
 
All other C-Notes also need to report in the music room at 5:00 p.m.    They are welcome to leave directly after mass or stay for the remainder of the ceremony. 
No concert dress required.  Appropriate dressy dress or Sunday’s best attire (spring dresses for girls, slacks/collared shirts for boys).
  
MESSAGE FROM MRS. KATHY ROHRS:
I would like to thank all of you for a very memorable farewell spring concert.  I was overwhelmed with the love overflowing in the room.
It was heartwarming to receive all the beautiful sentiments and reflections from students and parents. 
I was so touched by generosity: travel fund, air tags and holders, and travel basket gift items. Mr. Rohrs and I will think of you as we enjoy these in our travels.
 
I feel very blessed and honored to have played a very small part in your child’s life.  I will hold you and these memories forever in my heart. 
I especially want to thank the incredible team of mothers that assisted Charisse and me throughout the past many weeks, preparing for our NYC trip and this concert.
It truly takes a village to run a successful choral program and make our students “shine like stars!”    
It is ALL of YOU that have made this possible.

In appreciation for their work and support for the Spring concert, Mrs. Rohrs gave the orchid plants to Julaine Chilopoulos (choral librarian),
Tina Curtis (percussionist), Matt Park (piano accompanist for rehearsals and concerts), and student directors (Lauren Effertz, Alyssa Judge, Maxx Krickler). 
Any unsold candy, chips and water were served at the pizza party.
 
I (Charisse) personally would like to thank all of you, for a wonderful and memorable school year.  I too, have been changed for good…and you all leave a handprint in my heart.  How blessed I am to know you and see you Shine Like Stars!
