  • New Family Information Night (Virtual Event)

New families are invited to join an informational session led by the admissions department on Wednesday, August 20 at 6:00pm. Details on how to register for this virtual event will be sent out to all new families. Contact mguerra@chaminade.org with any questions.
  • Parking, Drop-Off and Bus Reminders

    ?? Visitor & Employee Parking
    • Beginning August 5, all visitors and employees must park in the LDS Church lot located at 10123 Oakdale Avenue, Chatsworth, CA 91311.
      • A security guard will be stationed here. Windshield decals are still required.
    • To reach our campus from this lot, walk north on the west side of Oakdale Avenue to use the crosswalk at Lemarsh Street.
    • After crossing to the east side of Oakdale Avenue, continue north to the campus gate closest to Egremont School. Security will direct you onto campus via a walkway separated from vehicular traffic.
    • Follow the walkway east toward the north side doors of Chaminade Hall (opposite the interior gate). A security guard will be stationed at a checkpoint to direct visitors to the Chaminade Hall reception area or allow employees to proceed onto campus.
      • Employees must present their ID badges.
    • Please allow extra time for this process, as jaywalking is strictly prohibited. In accordance with our Conditional Use Permit (CUP) with the City of Los Angeles, street parking is strongly discouraged unless the LDS Church lot is full.
    • Vehicles displaying valid accessible parking placards may use the lot along Devonshire Street by entering through the eastern gate closest to Corbin Avenue.
      • Please follow posted signage. Be advised that accessible parking is extremely limited.
    ?? Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up
    • Until construction is complete, the main drop-off and pick-up pattern will continue to be facilitated through the northernmost gate along Oakdale Avenue, closest to Egremont School. There will be no drop-off or pick-up in the parking lot that was along Oakdale, as it is currently under construction.
    • Vehicles should queue facing north on Oakdale Avenue to turn east/right into the driveway onto campus, where students will be dropped off and picked up. To exit campus, cars will continue north to Devonshire Street and must turn east/right. Turning left or making U-turns to ultimately go west on Devonshire is prohibited.
    • Due to the nature of our Conditional Use Permit (CUP) with the City of Los Angeles, student drop-off and pick-up along Oakdale Avenue is strongly discouraged.
    ?? Bus Queuing
    • Buses will utilize the Devonshire Street gates by entering through the eastern gate, closest to Corbin Avenue, and exiting through the western gate, closest to Egremont School.
    • Faculty and staff members will be present and direct students as needed.
    • Due to the presence of students, parking in the lot along Devonshire Street is limited to vehicles displaying valid accessible parking placards.

    Contacting Teachers and Staff
Email is the most efficient way to communicate with teachers and staff. School policy is for teachers and staff to respond within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). Email addresses are as follows: first letter of the first name, last name @chaminade.org. For example, for Robert Jones, the email would be rjones@chaminade.org. Teachers are in classrooms during the day, so if you would like to talk over the phone, email to coordinate a time to talk. For counselors, administrators, and program directors, you could also call our front office at 818-363-8127 from the hours of 8:00-3:30. • Introducing Our Campus Nurse

    Dear Chaminade Family,

I am pleased to introduce myself as the new middle school nurse! It is an honor to join this vibrant community and partner with you in keeping your child healthy and well.

My approach to school nursing is through relationship-based care and building strong connections. This helps create the best environment for your child to thrive. In partnering with you and your family, I believe it is important to keep you updated regarding any health office visits.

For non-urgent communication, I will send a text or email notification.

For urgent, time-sensitive, or emergent situations, I will call you directly to discuss what support your child might need.

If there are any changes to your child’s health, medications, or care needs, I kindly ask that you keep me updated. This helps me provide safe care for your child while they are at school. I can be reached via email for non-urgent communication and by phone call for time-sensitive requests.
I look forward to getting to know your child and partnering together so they can be healthy, thriving, and successful at Chaminade!

    Sincerely,

  • Meet Our House Advisors

We are excited to begin our House Advisory meetings on Monday, August 18. Students will report to their House Advisory rooms at 8:30am to start the week with announcements and information on upcoming school events. In advisory, faculty will review House Slides containing student-centered reminders and links that are then posted to House Schoology pages. Students are encouraged to wear their house shirts every Monday.

Each student will have two faculty members in their advisory classrooms. Each advisor will monitor half of the class roster throughout the school year, checking in on academic progress and student engagement.

Click HERE to meet the faculty and staff who serve as House Advisors.
  • Tech Hub

    Welcome to the Tech Hub!

Your Tech Hub is in the 200 building across the 8th-grade lawn. We aid with all school laptop-related issues. If the problems cannot be resolved at Tech Hub, we will provide a loaner laptop while the student laptop is being repaired. Loaner laptops have all the same functionality and software as student-issued laptops.

Students are expected to start the day with fully charged batteries and bring their Power adapters on campus. If a student forgets their laptop they can ask for a loaner laptop for the day (once per semester). The Tech Hub does not loan out chargers or styluses. The library can provide limited numbers of Battery banks and Temporary chargers that can be checked out for the day if the system needs to be charged. A loaner laptop will be provided if your laptop needs to be sent out for repairs.

We have links below to order replacements if a charger or stylus is lost:
