Tuition Assistance ~ Applications for 2025-26
The financial aid application for the 2025-26 school year is now available and was due on November 1.  If you feel you will need tuition assistance for the 2025-26 year and have not submitted your application, please do so immediately.  This earlier due date is designed to better align with the reenrollment period that takes place in early February.  Late requests may not be considered until after the reenrollment timeframe.

You will need to submit current paystubs in lieu of the end of year paystubs previously used.  If your 2023 taxes have already been submitted, you do not need to do this again.  All supporting documents should be loaded immediately.

Families currently receiving tuition assistance need to reapply each year.  To access the application, go to www.chaminade.org/financialaid or it can be found in the Resources section in the Parent Portal under Admissions.  You will follow the instructions for Returning Families on our webpage.  Once you are logged into FACTS, please select “Start Application”.  If you will be applying for a new student to Chaminade for 2025-26 in addition to a returning student, you will still use the Returning Family instructions and include all students on the form.  Your 2023 Federal Tax return will be needed to be considered.  You should use the same login as you have in the past for FACTS.  If you have any questions, please email financialaid@chaminade.org.

  • Academics

    Academic Resource Program (ARP)
Recognizing that some students can benefit from additional academic mentoring from time to time, Chaminade offers a supplemental academic mentor and support service, the Academic Resource Program (ARP), to assist students in meeting their educational goals. The Academic Resource Program for the spring semester will start on Monday, January 27th and end on Thursday, May 22nd (no meetings the week of Spring Break Week). Mrs. Jill Stewart will continue to serve as the director for ARP again this year. Mrs. Stewart has a wealth of experience in the area of academic support and student success. Accountability measures and organizational strategies are an essential part of the program to assist our students in reaching their academic goals. To make this work for as many students as possible, our program runs 4 days of the week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Each day is a separate "item" in the registration system to allow families maximum flexibility in their students after school schedule. We encourage parents to think about the amount of additional support their individual student would benefit from.  The most common number of days students attend the ARP program is two days a week.
The cost of participation in this program is $625 for each day of the week that is selected. For example, a family that selects the Tuesday as well as the Thursday sessions would have their student attend ARP each Tuesday and Thursday and would pay a total of $1250 for the semester.  A family opting to send their student on Monday only, would pay $625 for the program for the semester. There are no meetings during the week of Easter break.  Payment may be made in installments or in full at the time of registration.
This program will meet in person in the high school library. Each student in the program will be assigned an academic mentor that will work with the student throughout the spring semester.  The program will address the following areas:
Academic Responsibility – Academic mentors will work with each student to develop basic skills of tracking one’s performance and ensuring completion of assignments. Students will be responsible for presenting their agenda book for review, check their grades to identify missing or late work, and discuss with their mentor how to improve study skills and organizational habits. Mentors will send weekly emails to the student’s parents and counselor summarizing academic accountability and reporting current grades.
Homework Supervision – A study space will be provided for student to complete any homework or study for upcoming assessments.
Strengthening of Advocacy in their own Learning – Students will be mentored on how to appropriately communicate with their teachers in-person and via email. The best use of X-Block and office hours will also be addressed.  Guidance will be provided on how to most effectively express one’s need for additional support in target areas.
Tutoring – on-site tutors will be available in all academic subjects.

The meeting times and days are as follows:
Monday from 3:30 – 5:00            Time with academic mentor, homework supervision & tutoring
    AND/OR
Tuesday from 3:30 – 5:00            Time with academic mentor, homework supervision & tutoring

Pay for school meals and view school menus online!

    Hello Chaminade Parents!
Chaminade and The Caterer, Inc. are excited to offer new meal service technology for our students and faculty!  The new enhancements will improve the safety and efficiency of our meal service, as well as provide increased convenience, flexibility, and nutritional & allergen information for our Chaminade families.
Within the cafeterias at both campuses, we have instituted a new “no touch” cashless point of sale system, enabling safer and faster meal services for our students and faculty.
Aside from the improvements within the cafeteria, the new food service system will utilize the online and mobile applications for MySchoolBucks and MealViewer.  With MySchoolBucks, parents, students and faculty can both add money to meal accounts.  To help ensure the health and safety of all our students and staff, MySchoolBucks will help minimize the amount of cash/check deposits that need to be handled throughout the day as well as expedite the delivery of our meal service, which allows us to focus on keeping our students safe.
MealViewer is another online and mobile platform that allows parents, students, and faculty the opportunity to view daily menus, as well as the nutritional and allergen information of our meals.
The Lopez Family, The Caterer, Inc., has been providing food services for Chaminade High School and Chaminade Middle School for over 30 years. We are a family run operation comprised of Sid, Sue, and Scott Lopez (executive chef), as well as a full kitchen staff at each location. Having raised five children of our own, we treat the students like our family, with respect and compassion every day. Our staff is an extension of our family and truly share our commitment to give the best possible food and service to your children.
The Caterer strives to prepare, present, and promote healthy and delicious food that stimulates the eye as well as the palate. Our pledge is integrity, customer satisfaction, and a commitment to excellence. We deliver top-quality service and high-quality food on every level with consistent professionalism and a “customer first” attitude.
