Why not dive deep into the blue with an under-the-sea theme? The wonder and mystery of the ocean are captivating places to explore. After all, did you know that 80% of the ocean remains unexplored?
The mystery of the ocean is what makes an under-the-sea theme so awesome. We will have our very own magical adventure through Neptune’s kingdom. We will explore the fascinating creatures that live in our oceans and learn how we can keep their homes clean. Activities may include examining the anatomy of a fish and learning the ancient technique of gyotaku, or “fish rubbing”; creating a kelp forest; and making your own submarine. You will explore many weird wonders that live under the sea through science, language arts, games, and creative art activities.

Let the Games Begin! ( Grades K - 7)
Welcome to "Let the Games Begin" - the summer camp where traditional sports get a creative twist! Our camp offers a one-of-a-kind experience that combines classic games with innovative variations to create unforgettable fun for campers of all skill levels.
At Summer@Chaminade, we believe that sports should be accessible, exciting, and unpredictable. Our specially designed game variations encourage teamwork, strategic thinking, and athletic development in a supportive, high-energy environment.
Activities may include:
4 Square Volleyball: This exciting hybrid combines the court layout of 4 square with volleyball rules! Players rotate between squares while using volleyball techniques to keep the ball in play. The constantly changing positions and quick transitions make this game a camper favorite.
Air Pong: Our supersized version of table tennis uses lightweight beach balls and paddles the size of pizza trays! Played on our custom outdoor courts, Air Pong tests reflexes and coordination while being accessible to players of all abilities.
Basketball Bonanza: Traditional basketball with a twist! Multiple balls in play, rotating hoops of different heights, and special "power-up" zones on the court create a fast-paced game that keeps everyone engaged and moving.
Frisbee Bowling: Campers use frisbees to knock down specially designed pin arrangements. With different throwing styles, distances, and target configurations, this game develops precision throwing skills while providing endless variations.
Campers will also enjoy games like Soccer Golf, Aqua Dodgeball, Obstacle Course Relay Races, and our famous "Sports Mash-Ups" where we create brand new games based on camper suggestions!
Join us this summer to make friends, stay active, and discover new ways to play the games you love. At Let the Games Begin, we're rewriting the rules of summer fun!

Dancers will understand what defines each dance style and have the opportunity to try all of them to see which ones they most enjoy. Your dancer will even be able to find their own personal style by blending different dance styles into one that feels natural and unique to them.
As much fun as it is to perform someone else’s dance, many dancers love to create moves and routines all their own. After all, it is an art form. This camp dance will give your child a crash course in choreography. Your dancer will learn the essentials of how to choose dance music and how to coordinate their routine with the music’s natural beat. They’ll also learn how to use their performance space well. Most importantly, they will learn to build in transitions to take their routine from one move to the next smoothly, and in a natural way.
