Faith Life

Walking Together in Faith and Spirit

As a Catholic school in the Marianist tradition, faith is the foundation of the Chaminade experience. It is a journey rooted in the Marianist charism, to be formed by Mary for the mission of Christ. Our students embark on a spiritual path that cultivates a personal and loving relationship with God, forges authentic community, and ignites an unwavering commitment to servant leadership that transforms the world around them.

Campus Ministry

Through our dynamic Campus Ministry program, faith is woven into every aspect of the Chaminade experience, inspiring students to grow spiritually, serve others, and build a strong sense of community. At Chaminade, Campus Ministry is more than programs, it’s a journey of faith and leadership.

Liturgies and Prayer Services

As the “source and summit of the Christian life,” the Eucharist is the cornerstone of our Chaminade community. While acknowledging that our community consists of various faith traditions, students engage in Masses and prayer services, uniting in faith to reflect on the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Service Learning

Students choose nonprofit organizations that align with their passions and interests, completing 5 to 25 service hours based on their grade level. In doing so, they develop a deeper understanding of their role as agents of change and the impact of living out their Marianist call to service.

Religious and Theological Studies

Religious and Theological Studies is a core academic subject. Our program educates students about Catholicism and fosters respect for diverse religious traditions, encouraging dialogue and mutual understanding. It gives students a strong academic foundation in Catholic theology, scripture, and moral teachings. Through engaging coursework and discussions, students are encouraged to ask questions, seek truth, and develop a personal relationship with God.
