Our House System creates a vibrant sense of community the moment students arrive on campus. By being in one of our eight Houses, students build lasting friendships, develop school spirit, and engage in meaningful activities that connect them to school life.

Advisory: Deeper Trusted Support
Advisory is a key part of the House System where each student in a House is paired with a faculty advisor and placed in a smaller group. Through bi-weekly Advisory meetings, students receive personal guidance, grow in character, and form authentic connections in a trusted, supportive setting.

We believe middle school is a transformative time—not just academically, but personally. It’s about shaping young people with strong character and grounded moral compasses who are prepared to engage confidently in a complex, ever-changing world. That’s why we offer a Digital Literacy course in both 6th and 7th grade, giving students practical tools to be thoughtful digital citizens and understand the impact of their online presence. Through faith-based service, supportive faculty, and diverse opportunities in electives and co-curriculars, students not only discover their strengths—they begin defining their moral character values and virtues that will guide them into the people they’re becoming.

Middle School students are encouraged to grow not just in knowledge, but in confidence, purpose, and connection. Through opportunities in travel, performing arts, athletics, mock trial, and robotics, students explore their passions, express themselves authentically, and build a deeper understanding of the world around them. Whether they’re collaborating in a courtroom simulation, coding and problem-solving as part of a team, taking the stage, or connecting with peers on a trip, students experience personal growth that fosters self-discovery, empowerment, and social awareness. Each experience is a step toward shaping thoughtful, courageous young adults ready to make a meaningful impact.

Our dedicated Middle School campus is intentionally designed for students in grades 6–8, giving pre-teens the room to grow, explore, and be themselves in a space that truly fits. Our faculty and staff love working with middle schoolers and deeply understand this pivotal stage of life. Every corner of the campus and every part of the experience supports students with age-appropriate challenge, care, and freedom, ensuring they feel safe, known, and ready to discover who they’re becoming.

Our Middle School curriculum is thoughtfully designed to challenge growing minds while keeping learning engaging and active. With a balanced blend of hands-on projects and meaningful tech integration, students stay motivated and build real-world skills.

Students in good academic and behavioral standing enjoy a streamlined transition to our high school campus, continuing their journey without the stress of reapplying. By the end of eighth grade, Chaminade students are confident in who they are and equipped to advocate for themselves and others—ready to make an impact.
