  • Online Application

    Complete the online application and submit the non-refundable application fee of $100.00 by Friday, January 10, 2020. Select date for applicant entrance exam and interview when completing the online application.
  • Required Forms and Documents

    Request transcripts and standardized test scores to be released from your current school.

    Report cards from the prior year as well as the 1st semester of the current year and the last two years of standardized testing are required. Give recommendation forms to your current teachers and principal to complete and send directly to the Chaminade Admissions Office by Monday, January 27, 2020.
  • Entrance Exam

    All applicants are automatically registered to sit for this exam. There is no need to register.

    Applicants for grades 6 through 9
    are required to take the Entrance Exam. No other exams will be accepted. The application fee must be submitted to sit for the exam.
    Applicants may register for entrance exam prep classes, if desired. 

    Classes are offered through our 
    Center for Excellence.  

  • Family Interview

    Accompanied by their parents, all applicants for admission are interviewed by a member of the Chaminade administration or faculty. Your interview time is determined directly after the application is submitted. Confirmation of the date and time of your interview will be sent to you prior to the interview. The student interview will last approximately 15 minutes.
  • Financial Assistance

    The online financial assistance application for fall 2020 opens November 1, 2019.  The deadline to submit the application is January 10, 2020.  If you are applying for financial assistance, please note both the online admissions application and the online financial assistance application must be submitted by January 10, 2020.

Chaminade College Preparatory collaborates with the families it serves to provide a challenging Catholic education in the Marianist tradition for young men and women. In concert with our mission statement and our Marianist tradition, we seek applicants who have the capacity to live out the mission, values, and vision of Chaminade and who will thrive in an academically challenging environment.

Students are selected from qualified applicants based on the following criteria:
  • Transcripts and standardized test results
  • Scores on the Chaminade College Preparatory entrance exam
  • Teacher and principal recommendations
  • Personal interview by a member of the Chaminade College Preparatory faculty/administration

Final admission decisions are based on available student space, an assessment of the student’s ability to complete the school’s academic program and the student’s capacity to live out the mission, values, and vision of Chaminade.
