From Our President

Welcome to Chaminade!

Since 1952, Chaminade has been a place where students are known, challenged, and inspired to become their best selves. Rooted in our Catholic and Marianist traditions, we guide young people to grow in faith, pursue academic excellence, and develop the confidence and character to lead lives of purpose and compassion.

Chaminade is one school with two campuses: our middle school (grades 6–8) in Chatsworth and our high school (grades 9–12) in West Hills. Across both campuses, we guide students on an educational journey that prepares them to lead with integrity, empathy, and faith. Our graduates go on to join a global network of more than 13,000 Eagle alumni who continue to carry our mission into the world in meaningful and impactful ways.

As you explore our website, I hope you gain a sense of our vibrant school community - our faith formation, academics, arts and athletics programs, student life, and the many opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. Still, the best way to truly understand what makes Chaminade so special is to meet the people who bring our community to life. I invite you to visit and experience firsthand the welcoming family spirit that defines our school.

This is a time of growth and momentum at Chaminade. With a new strategic plan guiding our next chapter, we are building on a strong foundation and investing in bold steps forward. From enhancements at our middle school to plans underway for the next phase of our North Campus in West Hills , we remain deeply committed to giving students every opportunity to love, learn, and lead together. To learn more about these exciting new projects, I encourage you to visit chaminade.org/soaring.

Chaminade is more than a school. It is a second home, rooted in faith and strengthened by a shared family spirit that unites students, faculty, staff, and alumni. I hope you will consider joining our community, and I pray that God guides your family as you make this important decision.

In a mission-driven place like ours, meaning is woven into the fabric of what we do. Our job is simple and profound — to care for our young people, keep them safe, educate them, believe in them, and help them understand life and their relationship to God.
