THE OFFICE OF
MISSION INTEGRATION & MINISTRY
“Mary’s apostolic mission is to form all persons into the most perfect conformity with the God-Man Christ, her Son.”
-Blessed William Joseph Chaminade
The Purpose of Mission Integration & Ministry
The Office of Mission Integration fosters awareness, knowledge and understanding of Chaminade College Preparatory’s mission of forming morally aware and academically capable people to be outstanding contributors to the future by providing a challenging, Roman Catholic education for young men and women that is sponsored by the Society of Mary (The Marianists). In doing so, the office facilitates insight into the unique charism and values of the Marianists: To be formed by Mary for the mission of Christ. Grounded in this mission, Chaminade College Preparatory educates the whole person while emphasizing family spirit by being attentive to the academic, spiritual, social, and physical development of students.
The Office of Mission Integration helps deepen the community’s commitment to strengthening a strong connection between the Marianists sponsorship and the institution’s mission as a Roman Catholic private institution. This awareness and commitment is achieved by infusing the campus community and its educational process with the integration of the Characteristics of Marianist Education:
The mission is also achieved through accessible and informative resources such as: key initiatives and best practices; classroom instruction; symbols, stories, and rituals of our Catholic-Marianist heritage which are consistently presented throughout our liturgical services, retreats, Social Justice, and the Apostolic Works Service Learning Program.
The Office of Mission Integration also oversees the Office of Campus Ministry to ensure that the faith formation program is facilitating the spiritual growth of our students from 6th-12th grades.
