Introduction To Aerial Dance Technique
(Entering 6th – 12th grade)

This course for young dancers is designed to give students the foundational skills to set them on a journey toward becoming an aerialist. The focus of the class will include learning aerial safety and etiquette, stretching and conditioning techniques, standard climbs and footlocks, and appreciation of the art form. Students will have an opportunity to work with silks, hammock, and lyra in this fun and exciting workshop. SPACE IS LIMITED.  REGISTER EARLY.

Summer Dance Intensive

(Entering 6th – 12th grade)

Taught by Chaminade’s Varsity Dance Coach, this dance intensive will allow participants to receive training in all areas of dance including, jazz, ballet, hip-hop as well as intense technique training in the form of leaps and turns. Dancers will also be taught a series of dances with new, cutting edge choreography. All of these new skills will come together in the form of a show which will be presented on the last day of the intensive all presented in the new Theater in the Tutor Family Center for the Performing arts.

Entering 1st – 6th grade

Chaminade Circus camp is perfect for young performers who want to strengthen, stretch, andflex their creative muscles. Each day begins witha warm-up, followed by training and workshopsin circus, drama, and movement. Students learn circus and aerial skills; juggling, tumbling, climbing, balance, dance, and more. Circus campers will create and perform their very own circus-theate rperformance at the end of the session!
