VEX IQ CAMP - Weeks 4 & 5 PM Session Entering 4th- 8th grade
VEX IQ is a robotics platform designed to transform STEM learning for young student. The curriculum offers flexible units of instruction that can be used in sequence, in chunks, or as standalone lessons. The project-based units instill proper engineering and programming practices from an early age, while maintaining the fun and excitement that comes from playing with VEX IQ. Whatever your elementary and middle school STEM education needs may be, the VEX IQ Curriculum is a learning tool that will excite and inspire your students. This course is offered to students in grades 4-8 on the Chatsworth campus during weeks 4 & 5 int he afternoon session.
FAIRYTALE DANCE CAMP Week 3 Entering 1st – 4th grade
Learn the importance of characterization and storytelling as we bring your favorite fairytales to life through different forms of dance!See how fun dance can be when we bring itto life through storytelling, and how each form of dance (jazz, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical) can be woven into a beautiful and exciting end of the week performance!

MOCK TRIAL CAMP Weeks 3 – 5 Entering 6th – 8th grade
Come learn about the criminal justice system from the coaches of the four-time Los Angeles County Champion Chaminade Mock Trial Team. Students will learn the skills of trial advocacy including rules of evidence, how to examine witnesses, give opening statements, and make closing arguments. On the last day of camp, students will have the opportunityto present a criminal trial for parents and family. Open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

EAGLES TAKE FLIGHT! Weeks 3 – 5 Entering 6th – 8th grade
This three-week workshop will immerse new students in a daily three-hour experience especially designed to prepare them for starting the new school year off right at Chaminade’s Chatsworth campus. Each student will attend three classes daily to expose them to the skillsand knowledge expected of entering Chaminade students. One hour of study skills will be complimented by an hour long “Introductionto Chaminade” class, plus an hour of computer keyboarding and applications to prepare for our One-to-One Tablet PC Program.

ROCK BAND Weeks 4 – 5 in Chatsworth Entering 1st – 6th grade
Experience the thrill of playing all the instrumentsof a rock band in this exciting class! Students rotate between guitar/bass, voice, keyboards and drums in 45 minute intervals as they prepare to play in a rockin’ ensemble. All students will have fun while working on a popular rock/pop song as they hone their skills on different musical instruments. The new musicians will perform in small band settings at the end of class. Set your inner rock star free!
