H1N1 Flu Information

We ask that, as a precaution, if your child experiences mild flu-like symptoms, keep your child home for 7 days after the start of the illness or for a full day after the illness is over, whichever is longer. If the symptoms become worse (trouble breathing, very high fever), contact your healthcare provider and have your child tested for the H1N1 flu virus.

If you have questions about the H1N1 flu, call the toll free California Department of Public Health Information Line: 888-865-0564.
More information is also available on the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health website: www.publichealth.lacounty.gov
Chaminade College Preparatory will work with our families to ensure absent students are able to keep up with their schoolwork.
