Duties
The Chaminade Athletic Booster Executive Board Consists of the Following:

PRESIDENT:  The President shall preside over all Executive Board and Booster Board meetings, and will represent the Booster Association at Chaminade functions.

VICE-PRESIDENT:  The Vice-President will fulfill any and all duties that the President is unable to fulfill.  Will attend all Executive and Booster Board meetings.  Will attend Parent Association meetings and act as the liaison between the Boosters and the Parent Association.

TREASURER:  The Treasurer will present an updated financial report at each monthly Board meeting.  Will collect and deposit all monies collected by the Booster Association.  Will supply all cash needed at Booster functions.  Will pay all bills submitted.

SECRETARY:  The Secretary will take and publish all minutes of the Executive Board and Booster Board meetings.  Will take attendance and keep an updated roster of all Booster Board members.  Will do all correspondence.

PAST PRESIDENT:  The Past President will attend all Executive Board and Booster Board meetings.

THE BOOSTER BOARD OF DIRECTORS INCLUDE THE ABOVE OFFICES AND THE FOLLOWING OFFICES.  EACH DIRECTOR IS EXPECTED TO ATTEND ALL BOOSTER BOARD MONTHLY MEETINGS, GIVE REPORTS WHEN NEEDED, AND REPRESENT THE BOOSTER ASSOCIATION AT CHAMINADE FUNCTIONS.

PURCHASING DIRECTOR:  The Director will purchase all Booster Spirit Items with Board approval.  Will merchandize Spirit Items at Booster functions.  Will keep an up-to-date inventory of all Spirit Items.  Will work with the coaches and Athletic Departments to develop and order Spirit Packs for individual sports.

PURCHASING DIRECTOR (MIDDLE SCHOOL):  The Director will work with the Purchasing Director to decide the needs of the Middle School and submit the order to the Purchasing Director.  Will receive, store, and inventory items.  Will make items available for sale on the Middle School Campus.

CONCESSIONS:

        PURCHASING:  The Director will order and receive concession items.  Set prices with Board approval.  Keep record of inventory and finances.  Arrange with Booster Treasurer for bank start-up and close-out.  Work with Recruitment Director to train parents.  Make sure facilities' forms are filled out regarding needs (i.e. tables, chairs, etc.) for activities.

CONCESSIONS:

        RECRUITMENT:  Work with Athletic Department to acquire team rosters.  Set up recruitment system for volunteers.  Call each volunteer 3-4 days ahead to remind them of the date and time.  Assists Concessions Supervisor.  Help with clean up and shut down.  Provide Office of Development with list of volunteers.

GAME PREP:  Arrange for parent volunteers to attend varsity football and basketball games as security personnel.  This includes field security, ticket gate, press box and home bleacher security for football games.  Basketball games require volunteers for ticket booth, security and court security.  Supervise parent volunteers and coordinate activity with the Athletic Director.  Arrange for chain gang team for J.V. & Varsity football.

PUBLICATIONS DIRECTOR:  The Director will work with the Athletic Department to coordinate Sports Guides. 

SPORTS DIRECTOR (HIGH SCHOOL):  Director will post the schedules of athletic events of each individual sport at high school.  Will attend three Parents' Sports Nights as a Booster representative, encourage participation in Boosters, and promote parent volunteerism at those meetings.

SPORTS DIRECTOR (MIDDLE SCHOOL): Director will post the schedules of athletic events of each individual sport at middle school.  Will attend Parents' Sports Nights as a Booster representative, encourage participation in Boosters, and promote parent volunteerism at those meetings.

SPIRIT PACKS (MIDDLE SCHOOL):  The Director will work with the Athletic Director and Team mom/parents to present Spirit Packs for individual sports.  Will coordinate the ordering of Spirit Packs through the Purchasing Director.

PUBLIC RELATIONS:  The Director will generate publicity for all Booster events.  Will provide an article on Boosters for each edition of CHAMINADE NOW (4 articles in all).  Write and submit any Booster news items to the front office for approval and publication in the Middle School Newsletter.  Will take pictures of all Booster activities and start to form a HISTORY OF CHAMINADE BOOSTERS scrapbook.  

SPECIAL PROJECTS/WEB DEVELOPMENT:  

SPECIAL EVENTS:  The Director will organize the annual Fall Sports Celebration and the Booster Homecoming Booth, working with Concessions.  Work with Game Prep as needed.

AWARD CEREMONY DIRECTOR (MIDDLE SCHOOL):  The Director will organize the three Athletic Awards Ceremonies, working with the Middle School Athletic Department.
