Chaminade Chapel
Our Chaminade Chapel is located in the Chaminade Hall Business
office. It is a newly remodeled chapel following the 1994
Northridge Earthquake. The white marble floor, high rise
ceilings, and stained glass windows create a quiet and
meditative place for prayer. Our gold tabernacle came from
Spain and is engraved with a wheat emblem symbolizing the “bread
of life” that sustains our Catholic faith. The altar serves as
the banquet table where the bread and the wine become the body
and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ through the action of the
Holy Spirit. And the ambo holds the Scripture readings that are
proclaimed to listen to God’s word. The resurrected Christ
behind the altar embraces the diversity of faiths that are
represented on our campus. Finally, you will find a carved
statue of Mary and the Infant Jesus which reveals the love
between a mother and her son. This Marianist action is what
helps us to celebrate Family Spirit as one holy nation!
Everybody is welcomed to pray in our chapel during school
hours. Please remember to keep a spirit of silence because
the Blessed Sacrament is inside the tabernacle. On Monday
mornings, Holy Mass is celebrated at 7:15am and we encourage
everyone to come and worship as one community.

Campus Ministry office.
