Finals Of The Annual Typing Contest Is Today!
Our Annual Typing Contest is taking place during lunch in the
Computer Lab. This year’s theme is “The TypeFather… a Contest
You Can’t Refuse!” The singles competition, the one that
determines the best typist in the school, is today, Thursday,
May 8. Come and be a part of this annual tradition and you
might just be one of our winners! See you in the Computer Lab
at lunch, Rm. 204.
2007-2008 Yearbook Update
You may no longer order your 2007-2008
yearbooks online at Varsitybooks.com. If you have not purchased
a yearbook, you may do so by bringing a check to Mrs. Lande in
the Attendance/Health Office. The cost of the yearbook is
$74.00. Yearbooks will be distributed at school the first week
in June. If you have questions please contact Mrs. Lande at:
clande@chaminade.org.
Important Library Deadlines
All library materials are to be returned to the library and
fines paid by May 23. The last day to print any Accelerated
Reader reports is May 30. You can only access the AR program
from the library and the program will be turned off at the end
of the day (May 30). No exceptions, so please plan ahead if you
want those extra credit points!
Calling Sherlock Holmes…..”Help!!!”
We have a mystery…a disappearance. The Health Room reports that
a wheelchair and crutches have gone missing from the health
room. Where could they be? They are urgently needed time and
time again. If you have any information it would be greatly
appreciated. Please help Mrs. Greene and Mrs. Lande to locate
these items.
Ready For A Luau?
Final Dance of the Year! 7th and 8th
graders put on your Hawaiian shirts and come to the last dance
of the school year. This Friday night from 7-10 pm, come and
hang out with your friends, dance like crazy, enjoy the fun
decorations and munch on pizza! Don’t miss the most fun you’ll
have all year. Tickets on sale at lunch for $5—get them early
because they’ll be $7 at the door.
New Hours For The Student Store
Starting next week the Student Store will only be open Mondays,
Wednesdays and Fridays, closed Tuesday and Thursdays.
