Dear America: Voyage on the Great Titanic: The Diary of Margaret Ann Brady by Ellen Emerson White

Margaret Ann Brady is an orphan living in a London orphanage. Her only family is her brother, William, who lives in America. She gets an opportunity to travel as a companion with an American woman by the name of Mrs. Carstairs on the R.M.S. Titanic. Everything seems to be going Margaret’s way and even meets a special someone on board. All of Margaret’s dreams are smashed with the ship as it hits an iceberg. Will Margaret survive? Will she ever see her brother? Who is that “special someone” and will she ever be special to him?

I did not like this book at all. But I have never liked historical fiction. This book was very hard to read and the pages went by slowly. The words were old and out dated so it was very hard to understand. There was not really anything special in this book. I would not recommend it.
