Victoria and the Rogue by Meg Cabot
Victoria and the Rogue is the story of a royal young lady by the name of Lady Victoria Arbuthnot. Wealthy and young appearances of Lady Victoria captivate numerous men. Not to mention wealthy and handsome men, who may seem after Lady Victoria's good looks. After growing up in India, with her uncles to raise her up, she travels to London. Although, traveling over ship, to the city where her aunt, uncle, and cousins lived, Victoria keeps the frame and composure of royalty, even though two men may have entered into her life. Victoria even though after one in particular may have more than true feelings for the other inadvertently. Yet she is confident and independent. Is her love relationship for dashing Hugo Rothschild, also known as Earl of Malfrey for love or money? May Lady Victoria be wrong for the first time in her life? Find out for yourself, as this book enthralls and captivates your soul.On a scale from one to ten, I would rate this book a ten. This book taught me that not all the time anyone can be right. People should be optimistic and look at the bigger picture in life. Sometimes when people guide or caution you in life they are doing it for your good and well being. Many think that people who help are meddlesome, but sometimes you need those people to guide you to the right path of life. People who care for you will always guide you through thick and thin.
