Snail Mail, No More by Paula Danziger & Ann M. Martin

Written by Victoria Ralis
Snail Mail No More was on of my favorite books I have ever read. Elizabeth is a shy, quiet, timid, and responsible girl. On the other hand Tara Starr is outgoing, melodramatic, out-spoken, and a sophisticated girl. Besides living far from each other, they live totally different lives. Elizabeth and Tara Starr now communicate with each other via e-mail. Tara Starr and Elizabeth had a lot of many different challenges and emotions during this past period of time. Tara Starr had to get used to the idea of being an older sister for the first time, when her mother announced she was pregnant. Life once again spins tragically out of control for Elizabeth’s family, just after adjusting to her parents’ separation and realizes the extent of her father’s alcoholism. Will Tara Starr get used to the fact that she is going to be an older sister, and will Elizabeth’s family problems end with her father? Will their friendship be put to the test and be torn apart, or will they be able to help each other get through the hard times?
Snail Mail No More was an excellent book that kept me reading on and on. This book is a highly recommended by everybody who has read it. Also who ever has read P.S. Longer Letter Later has to read Snail Mail No More. Aren’t you a little bit curious what has happened to Elizabeth and Tara Starr?
