No More Dead Dogs by Gordon Korman

"No More Dead Dogs" is a very humorous and exciting book. It starts out as a famous middle school football player, named Wallace Wallace who has to write a book review for his teacher and refuses to because he feels that the dog should not die in every book. Since Wallace Wallace refused to write the book review his teacher, Mr. Foldgemen puts him on detention. His punishment is that he had to go to the rehearsals of the school’s drama production every week. After a while of being on punishment and not doing his review Wallace actually begins to have an interest in the play and turns the play from a boring oldies story, to hip new addition of, "Old Sheep My Pal." At first Mr. Foldgemen isn’t happy with these changes, but eventually he liked the way the play was going. As the opening night was getting closer, there were unfortunate mishaps that started to occur quite frequently and everyone begins to blame Wallace for them. But Wallace is determine to keep working on the play and figure out who the bad guy is.

    It is opening night and Wallace is there and tries to find out who the person is that is trying to destroy the play and finds out Old Sheep is tied to a cherry bomb and tries to save the dog and jumps up into the air and onto the stage and......
