Catlin's sister Cass was perfect. Cass was in so many after school clubs and recieved good grades. Catlin was always in second place following in the footsteps of her older sister. By accident Catlin and Rina make the team.
On the way to a party, Rina,Catlin, and another cheerleader stop for gasoline. That is were Catlin first meets him; Rogeson. Rogerson is everything Catlin is not; wild, bad, and different. At the party, a football player offers Catlin his letterman jacket. While she is thinking what to do Catlin sees Rogerson again. Catlin immediately hands Mike Evans his jacket back and runs off with Rogerson. Catlin feels that she is a whole new person with Rogerson. But when different becomes a problem, Catlin is faced with either chosing love or self digninity. What will Catlin choose? Find out in Sarah Dessens novel Dreamland!
This is a good book for young teenage girl who is trying to find herself in the world. I especially enjoyed this book because it always had me into the next chapter. This book made my laugh, smile, and cry. The way Sarah Dessen wrote this novel I felt as if I was really Catlin facing all of life's obsticles that she had to face.
