Define "Normal" by Julie Anne Peters

By Antoinette Ochoa
Julie Ann Peters is a great author who wrote the book Define "Normal." The book is about a young girl named Antonia who is an exceptional student at her high school. She is asked to counsel a young girl who is known to be doing poorly in all of her classes. The girl that is to be counseled is named Jasmine, but her peers call her Jazz. As the counseling sessions continue, Antonia opens up to Jazz about family problems, when it is supposed to be the other way around.
The sessions continue and more and more Antonia wants to open up, even if Jazz does not say anything. However, when times get tough for Antonia around the house, she has nobody to turn to. Fortunately, after the sessions with Jazz, she is able to let her feelings go and everything gradually starts to get better. Later on in the story, Jazz shows a side of her that nobody has ever seen, and everything turns out to be ok, or is it? The only way to find out for sure is to read this interesting story.
This story is a great story that is really touching and kept me hooked on to the book. It was a very interesting book. The way that Julie Ann Peters said everything made it as if it was a real life situation. If the story were based on a true event, it would have probably been the same way as it is in the book.
