How did Danny (main character) land up on a boat to Alcatraz Island? Well, it all happened when Danny saw a young, fat boy try to steal an old lady’s purse. Danny thought he could take the guy even though he was not that strong, but he was very fast. So Danny stopped the boy and gave back the purse to the old lady. But, if he only knew that, that kid was the younger brother of a boy in the toughest gang at school that was already going after Danny. Well, he got on the boat for Alcatraz Island to get away from the gang. But, the gang followed him! Does Danny survive? Does he get beaten up? Find out in “Someone is Hiding on Alcatraz Island.”

This book was very good. It was exciting, thrilling, scary and fun throughout the whole story. This book showed that even though you aren’t the strongest person in the world, you can defeat your worst enemy by the way you act.
