The music program at
Chaminade plays a vital role in the education of the whole child by
fostering the development of musical gifts, spiritual awareness, and
aesthetic appreciation. The faculty seeks to create an awareness of
beauty, encourage a growing sense of discernment, and provide diverse
opportunities for the exploration of individual talents in an
unthreatening atmosphere.
We, as a department, seek to help students achieve
a sense of joy in praising God with music and are committed to the
belief that every wholesome expression of talent can be a valid way of
praising God and carrying out His divine intention.
